OT - Womens Soccer Championships

Was reading a article that Tech's ladies beat WVU in the first round, checked out the bracket and saw that NINE ACC schools made it past the first round. Is that just because not many schools play womens soccer, or is the ACC just that damn good?

It's a little bit of both. The ACC usually has 3 or 4 really good teams that are always in the Top 10. There is usually a huge drop-off. UNC is always good at Women's soccer. UVa and Maryland usually have good seasons every 2 or 3years.

ACC is definitely the top conference for both men's and women's soccer. I think they had 9 teams go to the women's NCAA tournament.
