i like where this thread is going. Just wait for the oversized SUV with the cow catcher on the front, just cringing as she makes her way through parking lots.

I had three accidents in my own backyard when I first started driving.

Now you may be asking, "Why were you driving in your back yard?" To that I answer, "That was where the problems began."

So I guess what I'm saying is, I wish I had half that girl's driving talent.

I hear ya, Darkstone. I had an accident the first day I had my new car when I was 16. I tried to blow through a yellow light, but I didn't notice the lady in front of me was stopping. Plowed into her without ever touching the brake, going about 40...good times. It was NOT in my backyard, however.

It took me two months to total my first (and so far only) car. It wasn't my fault, as some doofus decided to run the stop sign across from me and turn left in front of me just as I was starting across after having stopped and looked both ways. I was able to avoid him somehow, but just froze up afterward, and while I was sitting there, another truck came by and didn't see the front end of my car sticking out into his lane and plowed right through my car.

My backyard accidents included running into my pavillion twice while trying to pull out of it (very minor damage) and running up over the foot-and-a-half boundaries that line my driveway. I still don't know how I did that one.

my wife has written off seven cars (including one of mine), but amazingly enough none of them were deemed to be her fault.
even so, I try to discourage her from using my car.

Man alive! At some point, you'd think they'd point the finger at her for volume's sake. Let us all know when she's on the road, please, so we can be on the lookout. ;)
