Utah NHL team down to six names after first fan survey. Which ones made the cut?

The Utah NHL team whittled down its list of 20 original names in a fan survey and is putting the remaining six names up for another fan vote.

The article states that the 6 finalists for team name are “Utah Blizzard, Utah HC (Hockey Club), Utah Mammoth, Utah Outlaws, Utah Venom and Utah Yeti.”.

All seem really dumb. Why not call the team for the dominant religion in Utah? The Mormons!

I kind of like Outlaws, that would be pretty cool.

I think I would pick Blizzard or Mammoth. Outlaws isn't bad but feels like a beer league name.

Jerseys don't look that bad actually. Not sure how I like the UTAH diagonally, looks like every other third jersey in the league.

I think they are going to go with something better next year. This year they will sell anything. Then next year you hope to WOW everyone into buying another jersey that’s awesome
