I saw this article (not sure if it has any traction) and found it interesting, I wonder if DL could make this work:

Nolan + Kings player for Tyler Myers.

With Voynov gone he gives us a presence on the blue line and because he is underperformed maybe a fresh start would do him good.

I can't seem to get a good link to post.

that "+ Kings player" would have to be pretty significant for the Kings to get Tyler Myers. There's no way 4th line fringe NHL player Jordan Nolan is worth anything close to Myers, despite being the coach's son.

I cant see Nolan being worth anything at all, I like him in the lineup but you could randomly pull any player from the AHL to replace him and probably not lose anything...in fact your team would probably get better

In any trade for Myers, Nolan would be the throw-in player along with a starting forward. Kings can't afford to trade any forwards. They aren't getting enough scoring as it is.

And with Gabbo hurt yet again, if Nolan gets moved it will be simply for picks. This way they can call somebody up.

weirdly enough a common misconception. the Kings are 13th in GPG right now. Not great by any stretch, but not bad.

I disagree with this, I think many people think he is the Tyler Myers of 2009. That year (his rookie year) was an anomaly, his statistics have declined every year since (48 points, 37, 23, 8, 22, 6 this year) and he is a mess in his own end.

Not only that, he still has 4 years/$22 million left on his deal. If Buffalo found a good offer for him, I would not be shocked one bit if they move him - he is more perception than reality. If he does round out, it's not going to be for a while based on his 5 year rack record and he is already 24.

On that note, I would not want the Kings to acquire him anyway because he would be a huge risk financially as well as positionally.
