The Dux hired Dallas Eakins to coach their AHL team in San Diego. So their youngsters are being set up for failure even before they make it to the NHL.

Teams want consistency between their AHL teams and the NHL teams.
Kings do it by installing the same system and winning cups at each level. It is just one way to go.
