A useful idiot.
Mitch = Merle
I was just excited to see Kirk Acevedo who I really liked in Band of Brothers.

Lol - I read this initially as you have a friend who is a survivalist and you watched the Walking Dead at his house. Hahaha.
I think your analysis is pretty spot on, Matty. I hadn't thought about it much, but your scenario makes total sense.

Also, I have always noticed Acevedo since Oz. I was not expecting him on TWD, so I was stoked when I saw him in the previews after 4.5 (for 4.6)
Wow! Crazy episode as expected. Gonna miss Hershel a lot! Tough break for Megan and Judith. Wonder if/how people are going to find each other, and if Tara and Lilly will remain on the show.
Good call! Forgot about him on Oz. That show produced a lot of actors that have done really well. I remember watching that show and thinking - this white supremacist and that psychotic guy would make great insurance company pitchmen someday!

RECALCULATING!
Totally shocked how close to the comics that ep was. "Kill 'em all" sent chills up by spine, and that final scene with Rick and Carl leaving the prison is an EXACT cell from the comic ("Don't look back, Carl").
I wish they did not have Lilly come by and head-shot Gov'. I think it would have been more appropriate for Michone to Zombi-fy him and have him walking away as a Walker in the closing scene.
Not sure I like the way Tyrese is being handled on the show. The kids saved his bacon, then he whines because they didnt go the way he was going. He was a much stronger character in the comics...
