Also, I have always noticed Acevedo since Oz. I was not expecting him on TWD, so I was stoked when I saw him in the previews after 4.5 (for 4.6)

Good call! Forgot about him on Oz. That show produced a lot of actors that have done really well. I remember watching that show and thinking - this white supremacist and that psychotic guy would make great insurance company pitchmen someday!

Pretty pumped for tonight's episode but too bad it'll be the last one until after the Superbowl.

I hope I'm wrong but I think Herschel is a goner, or at least is going to be in a lot of trouble. It just seemed kinda random to have him head out with Michonne after everything that went on in the prison. Especially when Daryl convinced him to stay in the prison once before because he's not very mobile. Add in the fact he was made out to be such a hero in the last prison episode, and I think it's lights out for Herschel.

From the Gov's group I think 1 or both of his new lesbian friends will be a goner. Just not sure if it will come at the prison or at the hands of the Governor himself. Maybe 1 of each. I'm really hoping 1 of his people speak out against him and he throws them into the lake to feed Pete.

Just interesting that talking dead didnt list judith as one of the dead in their goodbye to the dead

Totally shocked how close to the comics that ep was. "Kill 'em all" sent chills up by spine, and that final scene with Rick and Carl leaving the prison is an EXACT cell from the comic ("Don't look back, Carl").

I wish they did not have Lilly come by and head-shot Gov'. I think it would have been more appropriate for Michone to Zombi-fy him and have him walking away as a Walker in the closing scene.

Not sure I like the way Tyrese is being handled on the show. The kids saved his bacon, then he whines because they didnt go the way he was going. He was a much stronger character in the comics...

Yeah, I liked that they did something similar to the comics again...finally.

They're so far away from the comics at this point that it doesn't really matter, but I still enjoyed it.

The episode last night was maybe my favorite so far. I honestly thought they were just going to take the path of least resistance and let the Gov and company take the prison. I audibly said "yes!" when that sword appeared through the Gov. The last couple episodes make a little more sense now. Sad for Herschel, but the moment where Rick made his appeal and the Gov gave his answer (via sword) was great.

Kinda sad the woman shot him at the end. I really wanted him to turn!

In any case, great episode.

I only thought Rick should have mentioned more about how they took in the Governor's people after he killed most of them. I would think more of the people in the new Gov group would have questioned what they were doing (like the one girl did). 'Hey, ya know... a lot of people in our group are suddenly dead when with Brian and nobody else is around. Hmmm.' But I can understand how in this new world and with all the fear/concern, it's probably easy to be manipulated.

I thought the episode was a lot of fun. Sad to see Herschel go, he had a good run recently. I was suprised to see how Tyresse was saved. Judith better really be dead or there better be a logical reason there was a bloody carrier. I was kind of hoping for a baby walker.

Michonne told the Guvna' what she was going to do, though technically she didnt.

I was thinking about where I would go if and probably when the zombie apocalypse comes. If you have a group, I was thinking a stadium would be a good place. Most entrances can be shut and defended from above. Natural grass ones could be farmed on. I bet a lot were used by the milatary as refugee camps but if you could find an empty one it might work.

Lauren Cohan seemed off like she could not focus. Not Marilyn Manson crazy but she was not right. Hot but not right. It couldn't be that she was still sad that Scott Wilson was off the show it was strange almost annoying but hey shes super hot so I could watch it all night lol.

Well that was expected and not expected. I thought they would pussy out and go with the governor not killing either of them but that was certainly shocking on who he chose. I thought he would kill michonne for all his hate on her but maybe he still expected to take the prison keep everyone prisoner and kill michonne at this own leisure. I dont think they used the tank well enough in the shots and when it took the fence down. it could have been a little more epic but it was pretty cool. just having a tank appear on your door didnt have the same effect as if they were standing outside they heard the engine and then see it crashing through the woods. that would have been awesome. but Im nit picking as it was a very good episode (except the mysterious fate of judith which I think it pushing the boundary of suspense) I do love the grenade down the gun pipe that was awesome (is that possible by the way?)

I also like the death of the governor although I wish 1 of 2 things happened (he turned or he was still alive when walkers ripped him apart) and I also had a YEAH moment when the sword went through his chest. I honestly had a moment there where it was holy shit they are going to kill rick or that carl was going to save his dad .... again lol. Michonne is being written pretty badly IMO, why would she leave him alive there were no actual walkers within a close distance to finish him off. I understand she wanted him to suffer but he really could have survived that possibly. they are not treating that character properly.

also nice to see maggie step up and not fall apart watching her dad get his head cut off. you could see her become stronger by that. I assume beth took the bus group with Glen (would it not been neat to have the tank blow the crap out of that bus). Im going to assume that unlike the farm exit they have a plan this time to meet should anything happen where they have to abandon the prison cause you know... they may need a plan so they are not all separated again although I suppose that takes away from the suspense and hopeless feeling of being separated. Im hoping they are on the road for the rest of the season I want to see more of the world... oh and no more Hyundai great episode.

the whole scene with the kids initially leaving with judith in the car seat for the bus was a bit over the top in so much as they exagerated how heavy the carseat was for the kid luggin it around ... right away i thought, probably easier to get her out of that seat ... and honestly a car seat???? is rick gonna issue a citation if she isnt belted into the Hyundai properly???

i never thought amc would be ok with a baby being blown to bits (even in a zombie tv show)
