I think he is going to take out Michonne before being killed by either Rick or Daryl. But I really haven't given it much thought.

edit: I know my prediction is lame, and seems to easy, but that's why I think it'll happen. :sly:

:agree:
how do you guys suppose the return of the governor will shake down

he looks to be alone now ... the link from mattola seems to indicate the character may have been doing some soul searching ... is there a chance he could be apologetic and ask to be let in to the prison? lol

i dont see that happening lol. I see him with his 2 goons still. I also see him living on the road and just wanting flat out revenge. only thing now is does rick kill him or Michonne or Daryl

Im kind of hoping for a Tombstone style showdown of Rick and the governor with Daryl the one to show up :D

I think this upcoming ep will be primarily a flashback ep showing what happened to the Gov, Martinez and Shumpert since the raid/massacre. The scene with the Walker going towards the gov before falling into the fire I suspect takes place only a few days after the S3 finale. Martinez is still there (he kills the walker) and there are 3 tents.

As for what else happens, well the name of the ep is "Bait", so I would assume he kidnaps someone (Carol?, Hershel?, Tyreese?) and uses that person as the bait. Putting Darryl, Rick or Michone in that roll would not make sense because the Gov wants those three in particular, and would not sacrifice them as simple bait.

i dont think he even cares about Darryl. Its all Rick and Michonne to him.

Darryl because of his link to Merle.

But ultimately it goes like this...

1) Michone. She "killed" his kid and took his eye.

2) Rick. Other than Rick being the leader of the Prison, what did he REALLY do to piss off the Gov? I never quite understood that.

3) Darryl. He should be even lower on the list, but I didn't want the format of this post to be TOOOO annoying.

Now, who wants the Gov dead? In order...

1) Michone. She NEVER liked him, and he ended up killing her boo.

2) Glenn. He took the Maggie situation worse than Maggie did.

3) Darryl. Zombie-Merle!

4) Rick. He tends to want anyone dead that doesn't bow to his authoritah!

5) Maggie. She pretty much moved on from the situation right after it happened, but he still kinda raped her...

6) Hershel. Hershel would not want ANYONE dead, but of anyone, the Gov would make that list because of what he did to Maggie.

It looks like we have three more before the winter break. I'd be amazed if he didnt at least make it to the 2nd half.

yes on the first part.

and no on the second. I think the second was a great way to introduce a little more backstory to how easily society fell once it started and how so many became walkers so fast. at least imo.

Lol. I like the math they did. Pretty funny. Makes me think of the fact that when I take a stroll in the woods, I usually run across nobody. But these people can't walk 100 yards in the woods without encountering a handful of zombies. I mentioned this about a month ago...

I still think it's a little ridiculous how many random zombies come across this rural prison. Since they seem to go dormant without stimulus and they are in a fairly remote area, barring a horde, you'd think after awhile they would only have a straggler come through once in awhile, not dozens constantly outside at all times.

I've always liked apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic shows and movies mostly because I find the re-building of society aspect interesting. The "what would you do" in this scenario. Like I've mentioned before, more spikes (like the crazy guy made in their hometown, can't remember his name) or a moat/ditch or something. You're dealing with a slow, dumb enemy. I get disappointed that they don't go into some of that more.

With as good as the writers and production are for this show, you'd think they wouldn't miss out on those details. Like why do they have 1 or 2 people clearing the fence and 1 or 2 people doing all the gardening. Aren't defense and food your top priorities? When they had 40 people there, what the hell were the other 36 doing all day? It just reaches a "there's a killer in the house... let's all split up!"esque level sometimes.

I think Walking Dead is a very good show. It's just not a great show, and some of these "well why the fuck did they do that?" moments prevent it from getting there for me. Oh well, it's still damn entertaining.

I think it was either Zombie Survival Guide or World War Z which touched up on the fact that Europeans have an easier out because there are still castles there which are designed to repel hordes of people, the moat being the most effective deterrent for zombies.
