yeah I have nothing on that. just no reason behind it whatsoever. the fact it was like that and wrapped up. it just seemed like something they did to have us talking and will never give an answer

The whole family was dead in the room, and it looked rather peaceful, so it isn't like there was a deranged family member who was a psychopath (as the artist of that painting, or at least the one who altered it appeared to be). The fact that it was nicely wrapped also goes against any theory of a psycho family member.

I think the whole thing was done expressly to be used as a trailer/teaser and had absolutely nothing to do with the actual story being told.

at the time, my impression was that the woman who ended up in the chair and maybe blew her head off was the one who painted the picture of one of her relatives ... she was loopy enough to arrange her possible family members in bed together so maybe she painted it and then ... grew sick of seeing it and then ... she had enough of the loneliness and then ...

and what was the guy doing sitting on the toilet with his pants on. that made no sense or maybe he just finished

x's over the eyes tells me the painter had offed the rest of the family. painted that as a final act and wrapped it up pretty for humanity to find, and then offed herself.

x's over the eyes tells me the painter had offed the rest of the family. painted that as a final act and wrapped it up pretty for humanity to find, and then offed herself.

That makes sense.

Fellow comic readers who recently started - you are pretty lucky. They come out on time now, even faster with this arc. I first started in the late 30s and sometimes a few months would go by between issues.
