Today I had a minor seizure. I was sitting talking to a buddy of mine and next thing I remember he was kneeling over me and I couldn't feel my arms. At first I just thought I had passed out, but I was told I just had a seizure. Honestly scariest moment of my life once I was told I had a seizure. I awoke, knowing were I was but just overall shaken. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance but by the time I got there I was calmed down and was very responsive. They ran a number of tests but they still don't know what caused it and told me because it appears minor they would send me home but to come back if I felt anything strange...

Still feel a bit out of it, but I am probably just still a bit shaken

Similar to the problem I had in SC a year ago and ended up in the hospital down there. Mine was a balance problem and they never found out what caused it. I've had a few minor incidences since then and may need more testing.

Be careful my friend esp for the next few weeks and if you have any symptoms at all do NOT hesitate to call your doctor or if needed go to the ER. They can be caused by numerous things. My wife had one years ago a few weeks after giving birth and never had one since.

Just don't take any chances and I hope everything works out well for you my friend.

I'm glad to hear you are okay, Ritari. I've never had a seizure, but I've passed out a few times and it's not at all a pleasant experience.

I hope your friend didn't do anything stupid like try to put something in your mouth to keep you from biting your tongue. It's a common misconception that people have, but it's actually really dangerous to do that because the person doing it might get bitten, and it's generally better to bite your tongue a little bit (you are VERY unlikely to bleed to death) than it is to break your jaw on something you can't bite through.

Dang Tyler. Glad to hear it wasn't much more serious.

First off, glad to hear you're ok, Tyler, but that is pretty scary...

Thanks Boss. It is a bit disconcerting knowing my aunt (dad's sister) did die from a seizure. If anything is out of whack, I'm not going to take any chances at all.

Glad you're ok, and it sounds like you're being smart about it. Don't be a man, if something feels off, go to a doctor or ER. Better to be safe than sorry. You can't play around when it comes to your health.
