Why did a grand jury have to indict him? Why couldn't the police press charges and start a trial? Or the accuser.
It seems like he'll have 2 rounds of the courtroom. First by this grand jury, then with another formal trial?
Is this step of needing a grand jury to declare an indictment normal? I don't think I've seen this before.
