OT: Prayers/Thoughts Please

I consider us our own little family on the SportsHoopla, so I'm asking for some prayers from my family. My campus lost a brother tonight, and in a very abrupt manner. He collapsed at the Wellness Center during intramurals playing basketball while my team was playing hockey. My friend (certified) and I were called to help out, he was down without pulse/breaths, and we began CPR/AED. Unfortunately he had predisposed condition (athlete's heart) and was unable to recover. I'm pretty shaken by the whole situation, and I'd appreciate prayers for my campus, his family, and my friend who was giving compressions until EMT arrived.

Appreciate it guys. Any prayer helps.

Really appreciate it guys. Was a long night for many reasons. He was an athlete I worked with many times with football last year, and losing him is rough. Being emergency personnel is just so rough. God bless the people that do this every day...because there's no way I could watch another person die like that. In a way, this experience will only help me as a professional...and no words can express the pride I have for my friend who was giving CPR. He did incredibly. Still feel like there was something more to do.
