Former NHL star and longtime coach Quinn dies at age 71 - Article - TSN

Sorry to see his passing but what I remember most about him isn't nice. I never got over the way he quit the Kings as coach during the season and signed with Vancouver. Most likely that happened before the time of the majority of the posters here.

also of note, Russia announced today (or late Sunday) that Viktor Tikhanov died. He coached the USSR team through their dominant stretch of international play in the 70's & 80's
