OT: NBC Set to screw up coverage of another sport

Speed network to stop airing Formula One races

Looks like NBC has bought the rights to air Formula One in the US. If their Indy Car coverage is any indication, we're gonna have that fat fuck Robin Miller gasping his way down the pit lane asking really stupid questions and guest announcers who wouldn't know what a diffuser does if someone shoved it up their ass.

And since it's on NBC Sports, they won't air the races live because they will interfere with camouflage fatasses in a field, and will air it in replay at mid day (provided it doesn't interfere with horse racing) with the results scrolling along the bottom.

I would not be at all upset if someone nut punched everyone at Comcrap/NBC.

I dont think I have a problem with any NBC coverage. I watched everything i wanted live when it came to the olympics. Well, when I wasnt at work anyway

I'm not surprised that fox is letting f1 go. Since they are getting rid of speed channel and turning it into an all sports channel, I have a feeling that the only motor sport they want to air is NASCAR

Well, who can blame them? I mean we only have 47 ESPNs and only about 26 other all sports networks. You wouldn't want to continue with a channel that was viewed as an authority on all manner of a specific sport.

There are illiterate ex-nfl and NBA players who want to be "analysts" and have suits and everything.

I have grown quite accustomed to watching them live, and the Torrents are good, but it's pretty hard to avoid spoilers when going online.

There's a closed group site that has them. I actually downloaded the entire 24hrs of LeMans this year. I also watched Spa GP in French. That wasn't on purpose.

Dude, they have almost every motorsport torrent you could think of. MotoGP, Isle of Man, WRC, NASCAR, F1, WSBK, AMA SBK, V8 Supercars...so much torrents..so little Hard Drive space.

Been a member there since 2008. Its like the fucking Disneyland of the motorsport world.
