Riot Games
Streaming 10/4 - 10/6 with the Finals on 10/13.
This game has become huge in the competitive gaming world. The reason is probably because this game is so close to real sports. It's a team sport that requires at times flawless work between all 5 members to win.
They have been building toward this World Championship for the last several months with teams having to earn the right to play in it. It's the top teams from North America, Europe, and Asia playing for a 10 million dollar prize.
The more interesting thing though is that all these teams have already qualified for the new Professional League that Riot is starting next year. These teams will be placed on salary and play a regular season schedule against each other with a playoff at the end. They will stream all the games weekly during the evening live.
As a big sports fan and life-long gamer I've grown to really enjoy watching these matches. They broadcast them just like any sport with replays, commentary, analysis, and team interviews. It's also kind of cool that this will be it's own professional sport starting early next year.
