OT: I'm drunk

Anyway I've got a final exam next Friday that I've been working for 6 months and I'm stressed and now I'm drunk I've come to a few realizations

- my team will probably never win the Stanley cup
- bullying is incredibly pathetic and sad and needs to be seriously understood
- in drunk
- I may stop correcting my fat finger drunk ruling and let auto correct complete a sentence or two
- I love my wife
- I love my dogs
- I fucking miss hockey but have come to realize they don't miss me
- I've seen Canada win a gold medal in Olympic hockey live in OT
- I'm trying really hard to spell
- I miss Vegas
- I've known my best friend 28 years
- I'm drunk
- George Lucas didn't kill star wars kids did
- Optimus Prime is fucking bad ass
- Belarus is my second favorite international hockey team
- my wife is hot and I can't understand why she married me
- we will have no NHL this year
- I've traveled this world and want more
- I live in a place in the world free of tyranny and it makes me sad all places are not like that
- I have 3 hawaiian shirts
- I miss my dad

I still love Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back. I have a great fondness for Return of the Jedi and almost love it dearly until the ewoks. Lucas saw that the kids were snapping up toys like crack. and he changed it to more kid friendly comfort for the future. he knew once he started going plush and cute and farty and stupid that the kids would lap it up even more.

he was right. the fact that kids took so much to the toys and the ewoks spurned what was the shit that was the prequels. it changed him into not wanting to make 3 more star wars universe movies but 3 new Advertisements for toys and cartoons.

basically what Im saying is that if he didnt figure out early on that the merchandising for the kids was going to be as big as it was. we would have had Wookies on Endor and not Teddy Bears. the prequels probably wouldnt have been made as maybe the original trilogy would have stayed more to the hearts of the people of the 70s and 80s than carry over into ewok movies, droids cartoons and into the prequels. it would have been much more classic than it ever has been. Jedi really was going that way until the ewoks. its still good but man just a silly concept. thats the kids fault as they just blindly loved it so much as I dont think they really appreciate the 77 Star Wars for what it was. A Space Opera. Lucas said it was always for kids... it was never for kids. it just turned into it.
