So I'm depressing myself and watching the highlights from the Pens 12 game win streak (really, it's unhealthy)...and I just realized how freaking spoiled I've been with watching Sid on my team. It's ridiculous. *sigh* Just watched his hatty from the Calgary game, he was a penalty shot (which he had in the game) away from almost scoring 5 ways (on 4 goals). DAMN YOU STECKEL...DAMMMMNNN YOOUUUUU

What's the Gold Cup? Is it similar to the Grey Cup?

Its concacaf's championship. Basically US, Mexico and a bunch of bad soccer teams play and until the US and Mexico play in the finals

yeah, basically this. North America and some Central American and Caribbean nations. Winner of Concacaf (and runner up, I think) get to go to the World Cup. Unless something goes very, very wrong, it's US and Mexico that go.
The Concacaf representatives then proceed to regularly get slaughtered at the World Cup.

My 4 year soccer career achievements when I was a kid consist of one practice goal and getting to do a throw in during a game. Oh, and I played on a undefeated team one year. We tied once that season. My goal came that season as well.

I was pretty good as a kid. played defense, but moved up to take all of the penalty kicks and corner kicks.
