S Carolina. Half of the people have no lawns to throw kids off of. Most of them are this red clay shit and it's 100 degree's out so the people that have l them just watch them burn and turn brown.

This evening we are going to some outdoor Italian festival at some lake. Who the hell wants to sit outside and eat pasta when it's this hot and humid?

If it wasn't for the fact I am visiting family I would hop on the next plane back home. Still have one more fucking week of this shit! Oh well, at least tomorrow we are going to a casino in Georgia, Maybe I will get lucky and win a ton of money and get some hookers. :smile:

Atlanta is Okay except for the damn traffic. I hit it a few times on I-85 and it can be a pain.

I lived and worked in Atlanta for a year and a half and I really enjoyed it (this was just after the Summer Olympics back in 1996). Cool city and lots of things to do (Buckhead area is very nice).

It's a great place to live, but late July and early August are rough for a guy from Pittsburgh. Thank God for AC and Yuengling.

I don't know if you've heard, but there isn't much pro hockey here either(not to dismiss the Gladiators). Kind of a bummer.

Hilton Head is fantastic, so not all of SC is that bad. Savannah, Georgia is also a very interesting city. Those are along the coast and of absolutely no help to your current situation.

You'd be shocked. There's easily enough of a fan base here for the Thrashers, not to mention the transplants that moved down here, they just decided to build the arena downtown where everyone avoids driving to. The Georgia dome is the same way. This is a football city and tickets are still really cheap because it's such a hassle to go. If the arena was just outside of the city or further North, the Thrashers would still be here.
