OT: Giants sign Hudson

Too much hate in the other threads, here's something to change things up.


Why did the Giants sign this guy for 23 mil for 2 years?


We went from having a 35 year old ex A's Pitcher past their prime, to now
having 38 year old ex A's pitcher past their prime.


Wasn't Dallas Braden available? Or even Bartolo Colon at a discount?


I'm guessing Vogey would have resigned for 2 years $14 mill or less,
this basically takes us out of the running for a LF bat, not that there were
many power hitters available.

Hudson will surprise you. He'll be a solid 3rd starter for the Giants. I like the signing.
