I only need one hockey board. This one is much cleaner and faster and has a lot of familiar names (or at least usernames).
Hopefully, it stays this way. Because as of today it's the only hockey board I'm visiting.

The initial intent was to use this as a vacation home until the playoff madness subsides, but I would hope that the sheer number and quality of people and the improved interface would make this a permanent home.

No, I post on E$PN sometimes. Not lately, though. It's been kind of boring. I do enjoy posting on the game conversations and the Tennessee Board. I also post on the College Football Board during the season. Right now, all they talk about is politics.

Exactly. It really puzzles me. Why re-invent bicycle? There are so many forums available on Internet! Hosted, packaged, open source, commercial - just pick your poison, don't waste money on development.

Unless, of course, they wanted to produce a lousy bicycle. In this case they succeeded. Big time

I have this discussion at least once a week with some business leader when I announce that whatever security problem I find was uncovered with open source tools.

"What?!?" they ask, stunned. "You didn't use that logging tool we spent 3 million on developing?"

"Nah. I found it using the free version of Snort."
