A 20 year old man from Dutch harbour city Rotterdam was caught exceeding the speed limit by 50 miles per hour in his Bugatti Veyron. He was doing 100 mph in a 50 mph zone. The police confiscated his drivers license and the Veyron.

I guess he is the son of a major executive with Trust International, who are the main sponsors of the Spyker F1 team.

yeah, different laws over there.
I believe certain countries fine you by percentage of income as well, not by set price.

isnt it all the scandinavian countries that assess speeding ticket fines at a flat % based on your annual income. I tend to remember an Ericcson higher up who got a million plus dollar fine

I did the same on Staten Island in a freaking Buick Regal. Got 6 points and was told not to do it again. Who needs Holland :)
