Where is a good place to buy single malt scotch in Calgary

lol - Man, good question, I think there are pretty fine liquor stores in the downtown core (I can't remember the name of the place, but I think it was close to 5th Ave. and 3rd St. SW). Got a nice bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Lable for my dad.

Edmonton has a great place called the bothy I'm hoping for something like that is Calgary

It's overpriced but still cheaper than Vancouver or BC in general

Well, this was several years ago mind you, but I think I paid $140 for a 750 ml bottle. The look in my dad's eyes was worth the price though.

/As I recall, it didn't last long (the contents of the bottle, that is)

In the downtown-ish area Kensington Wine Market is the best, IMO.

Highlander Wine and Spirits is also good.

If you want to make a trip out of it I've heard that Willow Park is a good store way down in the south.

Thx Kenny I got that info from my inlaws neighbour and another friend of mine you guys were bang on
I did find the best deal here

Superstore macallans 12 $53 it's $95 in bc
Bowmore dark cherry cask 15 yr was $63 that is $109 in bc I think
