Weirsy is not the biggest guy (5'9" and 155 lbs) and I think trying to compete with the big bombers on tour has worn his body down. Hopefully, it's not the end, but it sure doesn't look good.

Weir has had ONE round this year in the 60s (out of 34).
unless they can fix something, I'm afraid he's done.

too bad, he was something to watch when he was on top of his game.

Ill take any good local sports news story at this point

Not counting the single A C's, only 1 regular season win for our pro sports teams since game 5 of the cup final

How about some of these whiny PGA pros whining about the rough at Shaughnessy?!? Sorry, but this is a national Open Championship, it's not the John Deere Classic. You don't like the rough, keep it in the short grass.

I played Shaughnessy a few years ago, and it happened to be the Iron Man event (rough was really long, greens were like glass, pins were at their toughest position. I was playing with the course pro and the reigning club champion, and they were complaining about being in the 80s. I was rather pleased to keep it near 120. well, not pleased exactly ... I was happy it was over.

Hadwin came out of the gate struggling, but had a nice back nine to finish T4.
good money, and gets him an invite for next week's tourney.
well done.

Well done, Adam, he had a pretty good US Open as well (T39) and has won twice on the Canadian Tour, he's definitely putting his game together.

since the CDN open, and on his way to the Greenbrier Adam had his car broken into, 3 canceled flights, 2 delayed flights, and no luggage. It took 26 hours to get from Vancouver to West Virginia (like an hour-ish outside of DC?).

He has an early tee time tomorrow - Callaway put together an approximation of his set of clubs, in case his don't arrive, and his friend just tweeted pics of him shopping in the local Walmart for some clothes to wear tomorrow.

a comedy of errors. Hopefully he can just laugh and enjoy it.
Go Adam Go!! :canada:

nice weekend for Hadwin after a chaotic journey.
68 + 68 puts him into a top 30 spot at the clubhouse.

Hadwin sitting at 25th on the money list, with what looks like a 2nd place finish today on the Web.com tour.
if it holds up, he gets his PGA Tour card for next year. (top 25 get cards)

2 of the 3 payers in the final group can knock him out of position.
but so far they have both missed the green.

fuck.
Hahn took a drop on the other side of the cartpath by the 18th green, but made a miraculous pitch to three feet away, and knock Hadwin out on the final putt of the day.

Hadwin T3 instead of T2. 26th spot on the money list, and off to Q school.
at least he goes straight to the finals.

Hadwin making a run on the final day of Q School.... running out of time though
he's got it to -14 (-3 today), right now 2 shots out of the top 25.
only 5 holes to play though.

opening round 74 may be his undoing.
