I completely disagree. I hate him wholeheartedly. He is a pompous ass and the only thing that is bigger than his arrogance is his chance of throwing an interception.

He is so overhyped and the media is constantly praising him. I got together with a few friends and had a Brett Farve drinking game durring the NFC title game last year. Thirteen beers a piece and half a bottle of vodka. It is rediculous how much undeserved attention that guy gets.

What makes anyone think its 'for real' this time? Its sounds mean but I think its funny the way his career ended, with a stupid ill advised pass.

In related news, Peter Forsberg's ankle is feeling great and he's looking forward to playing hockey again...

you know why i'm really really ticked off? today Schefter is at Steelers camp, and i was excited to hear some news on them because i know there are some injuries and i haven't been paying too close attention. well, instead of, i dunno, asking Schefter about the CAMP HE IS AT, they're asking him the same fracking questions about favre over and over again. they refuse to be diverse and it pisses me off. they JUST talked about him for 2 hours, please, move on! i mean, there is an NFL show on right after this, they can talk about him.

sadly, i've suffered through it today as well. I usually never change the channel on the office TV, but today I knew schefter was in latrobe, so i thought i'd turn it on and hear about the steelers. instead they're talking only about the gray beard. I now remember why i never put this station on anymore. Their coverage is akin to watching an episode of TMZ.

better favre than bron bron and the dog-like begging act the NBA owners put on for him..

if there's one thing that makes me want to rip out my insides.. its grown men, and entire cities, on their knees begging for oner person to play basketball in their city 40 times a year.. makes me lose faith in american society

I'll explain my unhate for him.

<--- Packers fan

Can't hate him, although he will never be the same guy in my eyes. I chose to not remember the past 2 years

The Pack have always been a storied, respectable franchise. What Favre did to them was sacrilege.

Watching 6 months later I am still surprised by how stupid of a pass that was. Running to your right, throwing across your body to the left is a rookie type mistake.

Then again it is Brett Favre, he always threw a lot of INTs. I believe he is the NFL record holder in that stat.

That makes sense.

I still hated him when he was on the Packers but that was for a completely different reason, he beat the Niners, a lot.

Come game 1 this season, Favre will be taking snaps for the Vikings.

That's my Book It! for the month.
