Didn't watch it, but looking at the winners, I'd say your main winners were Lorde, Daft Punk, Macklemore, and Bruno Mars.

Fair enough - "The Heist" was definitely my favorite album last night.

I don't understand the Daft Punk thing...why are they robots? And also not the biggest fan of their music in general. The Macklemore/Madonna/Queen Latifah leading marriage thing was...um...different. I don't care about who it was getting hitched, it was just politically contrived. I hope those were real couples for one, and that they got a real ceremony elsewhere for two.

Unrelated personal note - a couple weeks ago I used this expression in the office. The two people I was talking to had not heard it and they joked with me that I was a "country boy." Hahaha.
