LOL the 3 month trial is how they got me too. My wife bought a car that had it and a month later we went on vacation. Driving up and back and while there we had an opportunity to listen to it a lot. So she was hooked and extended it and then later she bought me a portable car unit. Its great.

I like talk too, just depends on what I am in the mood for. If its trafficky at all, I prefer talk.

My wife bought me Sirius with the lifetime membership because they had NHL games at the time. The next year XM got the NHL but I won a trip to the All Star game in Dallas before the swap thanks to Sirius. Now I have sirius with the Best of XM so I get all the hockey games again. The wife paid 399 for the lifetime plus I paid 100 for best of XM. So for about 3 years of monthly payments up front the rest is free. I don't think they offer that deal any more.
When my dad is in town he always makes me drive so he can listen to the Deep Tracks station. oh yeah and the traffic channel gives better info than the local news stations.
