Well, I hope everyone enjoyed that one dominant preseason performance. Won't see it again until next year.

Only in Bengals land do you injure your wrist and end up on the shelf for a knee operation.

Fucking figures. Just when I thought we had a suspicious lack of preseason injuries. Now it feels like Bengals football is back.

This one checks all the boxes. Ossai hurts his wrist, and the team assures everyone he’s fine and will be ready for the opener. Then a week and a half later, out of left field “oh by the way, he also torn up his knee while pounding Tom Brady into the ground. See ya next season.”

Pain.

Maybe he will break the “first round pick being out for the year“ curse.

Well, this makes things easy for good ole Hobs.... After we inevitably suffer through a season where we struggle to rush the passer, Hobs will assure us that we need not worry about 2022 because the amazing Joseph Ossai has been pushing sleds around PBS with the rehab guys for 8 months.

I was thinking the same thing. How the F do you hurt your wrist and have a torn up knee?

We just rewrote that old children's classic.........the knee bone connected to the........wrist bone

Apparently the knee was already bothering him, but not to the point he got it checked out. Since they were in for the wrist, they had the knee looked at.

The question I have is - if it's a meniscus - how does that make a year? I've seen cases where guys are back on the court in a couple of months. He has surgery, if all goes well, I don't see why he couldn't be back by November/December or even the playoffs (yeah, I said it - come at me).

On the long end, yes he would miss the season....but I think to say that he's out for the year right now before anything has even happened is a bit premature, IMO. Then again, what do I know? I'm not a Dr, nor did I stay at a holiday Inn express last night.

I was surprised by this too.... A lot of meniscus injuries are fixed in professional athletes in a matter of weeks (4-6) - Not months. You also don't always see a world-class knee specialist (same doctor that operated on Burrow and Saquon Barkley) for a meniscus tear. I don't think we have the whole story. Shocker!

Chase can't catch, Carman can't block, and Ossai hurt his wrist so bad his knee fell off

I think it was Mo who had the Injury Expert on his show the other day (Saw a tweet) but linked an article to the procedure. Basically 4 months back to athletic training. That would mean he could return in December for a playoff push....if needed.

But, I still recall others having this procedure and being back sooner...maybe I am mis-remembering, but I could SWEAR I've seen this happen and guys have been back in a few months.

new thing about Chase is that the mother of his child is posting things online about him being abusive, and then later on taking them down.

Bengals are still the bengals. nothing to see here.

Bengals have had a pretty solid run of good guys since Pac-Man and Burfict finally left.

I'd be pissed too if I didn't have any furniture in my living room. Dropping footballs makes a man tired - How's he supposed to relax without a couch?

Any guess who burrow will end up playing for next season? He can’t stay here and play for this circus.

Posting cryptic messages on Twitter instead of going to the police. She seems like a peach.

Either he did something worthy of police protection, or he didn't. Going onto social media comes across more as the person trying to dirty up someone's else's name (i.e. feelings were hurt, she put him on blast) rather than something actually happening.

If it did happen - he deserves the consequences and she should 100% go to the police. Not social media.
