Exactly. He won big last year at North Texas. He put a beat down on Navy in our only conference loss. Despite the three INTs from Mestemaker in the American championship game, North Texas played well.

I could easily see them being in the Big XII conversation until the end. He also has an offense that a lot of teams in the Big XII don’t have.

It was always about Oregon getting to play one of the worst teams in college football prior to USC. Multiple national and even Oregon podcasts have pointed at it as an advantage as soon as the schedule was released. Oregon hasnt had to play a ranked team the week prior to facing USC in the last now 5 matchups. USC just had to twice in a row last year and the year before that. It even was a bigger advantage given the dante moore injjury that Raiola got *checks notes* 26 snaps vs Portland st. Would he have gotten that vs ANY other B1G team? Thats highly doubtful.

Dont look now but Oregon is slated to play 3 straight unranked teams before facing Ohio st. I stand by what i said before season started that the B1G intentionally made sure Oregon wasnt going to have to play TOO MANY RANKED TEAMS at the same time. Ohio st is facing both Indiana and USC before playing Oregon. Looks like thats advantage Oregon again. To pretend that its some coincidence that Oregon gets all these scheduling advantages and its not the B1G doing it is foolish.

The week before they lost by 6 in Bloomington. Watch the games and you realize those teams look very formidable. Just as formidable as USC.

OSU probably isn't ranked if Oregon beat them because of the Tulsa loss but they look like a pretty good team right now. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up with 8-10 wins this year.
