Oregon and California

Last year I took a road trip on I-80 to the west coast wanting to revisit Oregon, and Mount Shasta and Lassen Volcanic in N. CA. Amazing natural beauty in these parts. Add these sites to your bucket list. This year, I hope to do the southern route to CA via I-20/I-10 thru NM and AZ. Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mk IV.

OR is on my list. I have driven up the PHC in Cali, which was great and I would love to do that again. I lucked out and messed up my car rental, so I ended up with a Mustang convertible for the drive. If you are going to do that drive, do it in a convertible.

I ended the trip in Seattle and hiked around Mt Ranier.

I`ve been thru part of North California into the Redwood forest........Those trees were amazingly huge.We drove the Chevy S-10 thru one of them.....Very nice scenery up there........Went thru SF and down whatever highway that follows the ocean down to L.A. and Hollywood..........after seeing the northern part of the state,I believe I seen enough of it.............
Would love to go see Oregon and Washington.​

I`ve been thru part of North California into the Redwood forest........Those trees were amazingly huge.We drove the Chevy S-10 thru one of them.....Very nice scenery up there........Went thru SF and down whatever highway that follows the ocean down to L.A. and Hollywood..........after seeing the northern part of the state,I believe the rest of it sucks compared to that.............
Would love to go see Oregon and Washington.​

Yep, all mine. Those are best of dozens I shot. I wanted to head for Redwood but it was time to return. I’ll save SF and the N. CA coast for another trip.

Nice. Snow-capped peaks are just awesome. In the past I could never get a good shot of Ranier. It was usually overcast when I passed by.

Thanks! I use a polarizing lens which deepens the blues and greens on landscapes, or I fiddle with the brightness in the Canon software to get the right tones.
