I think we can all agree Notre Dame is the greatest Program in the history of College Football.
But it increases the chances that the legitimate teams are taken out by one of those 2 loss teams, setting up an easier path for another team who might not have been up to the challenge.
Yeah, how many threads do our fans start on Texas? NONE.
How many do YOUR trolls start on Bama? A helluva a lot. So you can deal with your fixation instead of pointing to one that isn’t there.
Great, like the selection committee isn't fucked in the head enough as it is? If this suggestion became reality that would only screw more things up. So a team gets in simply by default because you don't want two from the same conference?
So UCF gets in because GA and Alabama cannot both be in? Lots of butt raping for suresure … that is fine with me …. it isn't like the selection committee is making any real logic with what they are doing now... 3 game that were over with by half time … make for bad boring football
I thought this was gonna say we should stop letting Big12 teams waste a playoffs spot, since they seem to be the ones who keep letting all these SEC teams advance.
I was going to kayfabe and support your little endeavor here...but after this?FIFY..........I absolutely agree w/this. I mean, they're not called Chokelahoma for nothing.
??? I not sure what your post has to do with this thread … other than we can all agree that I didn't start this thread … and neither did you ???
The SEC should never ever have two teams qualify for the playoffs again. Still can’t believe some of you thought a 2 loss team that was blown out by an average LSU team and then lost to Bama and then could not win their division belonged in the playoff. I won’t even talk about what Texas did to said team.....
OK.
Using your line of thinking the Big XII should never get a team into the playoffs because in it's CFP appearances they've lost on average 45.3 - 33.

When it comes to the playoffs OU IS the Big XII because none of the rest of you are good enough to make it.OU has lost like that not the Big 12

That’s true. Similar to Clemson and the ACC. Clemson won the NC, not the ACC. Take Clemson out of the ACC and your weak as fuck conference is an average mid major.
FIFY..........I absolutely agree w/this. I mean, they're not called Chokelahoma for nothing.
I see zero gain in expansion and until someone that has a legit case against being left out expansion shouldn't even be considered.
I could argue that Baylor won the head to head with TCU that year and if anyone got picked it should have been them. Fact is Ohio State and Alabama were most likely the 2 best teams and they played in the semi-final so the best teams made it in.I could be argued that TCU was a better pick than FSU that first year. I have no doubt that they would have played Oregon better.
That said my argument (although from a fan perspective and fans do pay the bills) is that if players keep bailing on bowls and turning them into little more than spring games against another team, they will need some more bowls that "matter" to draw more interest.
