One Question About The Cole Beasley Catch (Game Clock)

4th quarter......52 seconds left...6 yards pass

The Cole Beasley catch was caught with 28 seconds left on the clock.

Time was called by the booth ....And the catch was reviewed by the booth......catch was good

Why didn't the refs, put time back on the GAME CLOCK, after the booth review.

They started the next play with 12 seconds left on the GAME CLOCK.

the CBS ref (on the broadcast) Gene Steratore said the same thing.........

The booth waited to stop the play until Dallas got ready to snap it. If they would have stopped it immediately it would have given Dallas a huge advantage. This way if it was incomplete they could add the time back. Pretend it is a throw that is not in question. Beasley catches the ball and is tackled. If they stop it immediately then Dallas would get all the free time of getting to the line and calling a play.

Anybody else on here feel the need to kick an NFL official in the nutsack? That snap penalty was ticky tack and was a terrible call. A few holding calls were bs as well. The refs were trash in this game.

I actually think the refs do a pretty good job considering how tough it is and without the benefit of HD slo-mo replay in real time. One thing that I do feel they get wrong over and over is when the OLs hands are outstretched to the side and they are pushing and the player goes down it's always a holding call even when it really isn't. But, i find it goes both ways
