I vividly remember that play. I also remember Allen threw a NY Giant Linebacker through the air. May have been armstead. He bench pressed him off and threw him for what seemed like 10 yards. Allen was stuck at LT that one season and dominated. Just a freak.

Interesting thing was Aikman was chasing him down too. Most QB's today would already be getting a drink

Aikman looked pretty fast too. Loved that formation. Stepnowski actually got beat on the play. The blitz was coming. The Saints always had a way back then .Of blitzing Aikman right up the middle. I remember the DC of their team said he got the idea from watching a hockey rush. Derek "big baby" Kennards man was the one that tipped it. As good as Larry Allen was, I think Eric Williams was even better when he was healthy. He wasn't playing in this game. Damn them dudes could play

Before the car accident, he was awesome. Probably a guy that would have been headed to the HoF with the way he took the fight to some of the best defenders in the game. Fond memories of him giving Reggie White fits.

He used to whip the shit out of Strahan and William Fuller

Williams was not even close to the same player after the wreck. He was a mean sob on the field. I still remember him spearing a packer DT with a chop block and the guy had to be carted off the field.

Two of my favorite plays are Tony Dorsett's 99 yard run, and Marion Barber's very long 2 yard run.

My sports memories get fuzzy. But not that Dorsett run. Watch in the basement of my parents house on the TV with the illegal HBO box attached to it. lol ...I don't think cable tv had been invented yet.

Satellite TV was the thing.

The funny part about that play is the call was for Springs to get the ball, he got confused and thought he was not suspossed to be in the play so he left the field leaving 10 men on offense. Dorsett realized Ron had left so he took the handoff to pay dirt.
