yes, and if you look at his numbers that year, he got ALL of his numbers that year in 3-4 games for the most part, vs really shitty teams.
They only play 12 games.

SEC is equivalent to the AFC South. He was a legit college player.

from Peter King’s Monday Morning Quarterback.

“We talked about it this week,” the GM said. “First of all, we don’t think he’s a very good player. The reality is he’s an overrated football player in our estimation."

that was on Sam. you can legit look at that final season. he killed 3-4 awful teams, bobby boucher style. thats it.

I really really like this kid. what a story...

Where does he get drafted? IMO if he had 2 hands he'd be a top 10-20 pick based on his numbers and combine.
Round 3.

You a big fan of drafting linebackers to play safety?

sure. its pretty common. athletic LBers converted to safeties, or vice versa. LB position isnt just fire hydrants like ted johnson anymore.

FYI, brian dawkins was 6'0, 210-220, so he fits the size mold.

hes ridiculously fast and a ball hawk.

i can see someone toying with it.

Dawkins played linebacker until the NFL?

Learning a new position at the professional level isn't an idea I support. Even when it's slow, white RBs moving to fullback.

maybe im not so wrong?

STRENGTHS
Possesses good athletic ability. Smart player who processes the game plan and executes. Attacks face-up blockers with maximum arm extension to keep his frame clean. Carries some upper body power at the punch. Asks for no quarter and gives none. Looks to punish as hitter. Impressive total of 13 passes defensed on 42 targets. Instinctive with the talent to play 3-4 inside backer and 4-3 outside backer spots. Has intriguing burst when edge rushing. Accelerates quickly off the snap and can outrace some tackles to the edge. Posted 18.5 sacks over two years as an outside rusher and blitzer. Plays fast uses good technique.

no, i clearly didnt say dawkins was a LBer. i did clearly state his size, as he was also....ready...a safety!
what of QB's becoming elite WR's? (Pats have a guy)

or lets say, LBers turned FB? (Pats have one)

he has very good ball skills.

yeah, you really didnt know much about the guy. this isnt me saying this shit.

this is NFL scouts.

i can absolutely dig up links here and elsewhere.

he wasnt fast. not really athletic. tweener at BEST positionally. (i already posted a quote "he wasnt a good football player" from a scout)

got i THINK 8 of his 11.5 sacks in 3 games.

Big Ben has the size of a DEnd, nobody wants to see that shit.

If a guy didn't play a position in college, he's most likely not going to be much good at it in the NFL. I'm sure some people still think Pryor will be a good receiver.

Fullback is a waste of a roster spot imo. Even if it's a cripple.

I am not going to keep doing this. The man has one flippin hand, played his career in a sub par college and I really don't give a damn about feel good stories.
