I need my brother in law, Manny Malhotra of the Vancouver Canucks, to have a successful eye surgery tomorrow saving his eye and vision.
I wish the best for Manny tomorrow...
/I know this is way down on the priority list, but I think a player has to have a minimum amount of vision in both eyes in order to play in the NHL...Just not sure what the minimum level is.
Good luck to Manny on his upper body surgery.
From the twitter of Bob McKenzie:
I am hearing Malhotra's surgery went as well as could be expected but it may be 6 to 8 weeks before there is a firm long term prognosis.
How about we grandfather in visors starting next season?
heard this morning that Ryan Smyths brother lost an eye playing hockey 10 years ago ... yet Ryan still doesnt wear a visor
