Well, if PC is hellbent on losing these guys, I would want Marchy to stay more then Kelly ... that's a given. I just think PC is going overboard with all these moves, maybe.

to see what other teams are interested in.

To me, keeping Marchand is more important than keeping Kelly, because of age
as much as anything else.

Retaining Rask, as I have said elsewhere, IS priority 1 for this team.

No way do we make the Final without him this last season.

I'm glad we got Rask re-signed ... but I dont like such a long term deal (8 years???), unless there's some team option clause in there somewhere. I tend to get really skeptical of any long-term contract that exceeds 5 years. Maybe, it's just me, but I've seen teams get saddled/burned with these long-termers and alot of times it comes back to bite them. Hopefully, this is not one of those jinky deals.

I am betting Bergeron is looking for a max length contract. That may be a tough pill for the Bruins to swallow. Seeing we are still paying Savard

Rask is worth that long a contract.

Not many players are, but goalies can play well at ages older than skaters can,
and Rask still has Vezina candidacies in his future.
