@SmokingMonkey , sent you something to chew on.
@SmokingMonkey , sent you something to chew on.
the player you targeted isn't planning on switching teams for a few more seasons
knocked out a few things for work today, I should have some time to try to counter tomorrow afternoon (fingers crossed)
Knew I should have second thoughted that one. Almost added a 1st, which should have alerted me to how far I might be off.
I’ll do better next time.
@FaCe-LeE-uS - sent you something maybe you like. ...
Good offer Fuzz, but @TKOSpikes edged it out with that extra #3/#5 swap.@TREFF

I wasn't going to deal David for a guy whose fantasy worth was pretty much strictly tied to sacks, but, that's the hand I was dealt
Well hell, I certainly don't blame you there were at least 4 guys on waivers just as good. .... so you get an extra 3rd and still can upgradeGood offer Fuzz, but @TKOSpikes edged it out with that extra #3/#5 swap.

well my biggest hangup is the fact that he's L. David, Cornhusker legend, and it'd break my heart to drop him for John Bostic even though I'd likely get similar numbers.Well hell, I certainly don't blame you there were at least 4 guys on waivers just as good. .... so you get an extra 3rd and still can upgrade
All I'll say is I never use the fantrax, fantasypro, ESPN, CBS, etc 'projections'. I go to a couple of other trusted sources who are IDP right way more than wrong with proven track records. Obviously situations change due to injuries so those factor kind of erase all hopes and dreams (one way or the other). ......well my biggest hangup is the fact that he's L. Although I would argue that no one on waivers has the pedigree that David has nor the proven track record. Not that long ago, David was the best inside linebacker in the league, and he's still within the top 5-10. The projections of some of those dudes are certainly in the same ball park, the numbers will likely end up similar, but David is a bankable, lock for what he's projected at as a floor, I'm not so sure about the others, their projections seem to be a little bit of wishful thinking like more in the area of best case scenario rather than a floor or even a ball park estimate of a median, IMHO.
all that being said, I couldn't just pull the trigger on a move, it had to be a trade. And now I'm swinging for the fences with a rookie sack specialist over HOF Aaron Donald, who isn't even listed as the #2 on the current Rams chart. The kid looked unfreackingstopable against the Lions starters this weekend and was wreaking HAVOC on them.
Oh no- My guy is a tackling machine. You tossed a set to draw to an inside straight.Good offer Fuzz, but @TKOSpikes edged it out with that extra #3/#5 swap.

I've done that from time to time...only had it pan out once...but that once felt SO goodOh no- My guy is a tackling machine. You tossed a set to draw to an inside straight.
Well I did draft a slew of RBs so hopefully it doesn't hurt to badly.Condolences @HaroldSeattle... Travis Etienne likely out for the season
We probably would have taken him (reluctantly) at five if you'd chased Chase.Well I did draft a slew of RBs so hopefully it doesn't hurt to badly.
