I cant believe MM gets past WAS.
I really can't believe DAL passes on Gurley.
NYG loves Scherff and they should.
NE needs defense bad!

Gurley's going to end up going in the teens.

Cooper goes first of the wideouts and in the top 10. The league isn't that stupid and they love them some WRs. Just look at last years draft and the success of many of the early picks.

That's a pretty solid effort IMO. I too think Gurley will go higher, a guy like Peters likely lower, but I think that's probably better than most draft "experts" will do. Save this and compare it to Mel Kiper later.

Depends if anything happens with Adrian Pederson before the draft... Minnesota could end up with draft picks.

Absolutely. Hope Dallas doesn't get him, unless, of course, they give up too much, and it weakens the team.

I will. I usually beat Kiper, and he changes his mock until the draft begins. Now, Mayock is another story. He knows more than Mel.

I reserve the right to change before April 30th.

Here goes:
1. Tampa - J. Winston
2. Tenn. - L. Williams (will rade pick for MM)
** I think Mariota goes 2 to either the Jets or Cleveland in a trade up.
3. Jack. - D. Fowler
4. Oak. - K. White
5. Wash. - V. Beasley
6. Jets - M.Mariota (could trade pick or keep MM)
7. Chi. - S. Ray
** I think Ray will drop a little into the teens
8. At. - D. Shelton
*** I see Atlanta going pass rusher all the way here
9. Giants - M. Brown
10. St.L. - B. Scherff
11. Minn. - A. Dupree
*** This is where I think Parker goes
12. Clev. - A.Cooper
13. N.O. - T.Waynes
14. Mia. - D. Parker
15. S.F. - B. Perriman
16. Hou. - K. Johnson
*** I hope they take B Jones and let KJ slide :)
17. s.D. - La'El Collins
18. K.C. - Lan. Collins
*** I think Landon Collins drops into the late 1st even early 2nd
19. Clev. - A. Armstead
20. Phila. - Byron Jones
21. Cinc. - E. Flowers
*** I predict Flowers surprises and is the 1st OL'man selected
22. Pitt. - M. Peters
23. Det. - E. Goldman
24. Ariz. - S. Thompson
25. Caro. - DJ Humphries
26. Balt. - TJ Clemmings
*** Clemmings imo is the most over rated 1st round prospect
27. Dall. - J. Phillips
28. Den. - A.Peat
29.Ind. - T. Gurley
*** What a steal this would be
30. G.Bay - R. Gregory
*** I don't buy him dropping
31. N.O. - C. erving
32. N.Eng. - J.Fisher

Thanks Rey! I agree with most of your assessments. I have already revised and updated my mock since i posted this, and will submit my final next week, as I get my mock published in my local paper. Why do you see Ray slipping? I have seen some others say the same thing. I really want Jones more than I do Johnson. Just me. Mostly cause Chip can play him at S or CB. Agree on Landon, as he's not a fit for the Birds. The money is on S.D. to trade up for Mariota, which would end chip's chance to get MM. Appreciate your critique.

SD slipped my mind on the trade up with Rivers ... certainly a good possibility as well. Mariota won't drop past 2 any way you slice it. Still a slight chance he goes #1 ... a good deal of talk here that while still the favorite, Winston isn't a mortal lock at 1 yet.

Rey, why don't you like Clemmings?

And how do you think he'd fit here? I was starting to lean OL with our first pick if we can't grab our favorite CB, and La'el and Flowers could push some of the other guys down . Clemmings is a nasty piece of clay for Stoutland to work with. And Clemmings could play all over this line.

He's talented, but very, very green with footwork ... I have him as an early Rd 2 guy and a value pick if he slips into the middle of Rd 2. I wouldn't be opposed at all to OL in Rd 1 though ... I've been a L Collins fan forever and am very high on Flowers as well. Chip isn't scared to take a green guy as he did with Lane Johnson ... so even though I would go a different route ... seeing Clemmings be the pick at 20 would not shock me if his plan is to replace Mathis after this year. Clemmings does have the talent to play both G and Tackle ... but he needs to redshirt year one.
