I'd still suspect Oklahoma to win the Big 12. It's terrible and I don't believe in Texas or Oklahoma State. But we're talking playoffs. Oklahoma's name is already mud in the post-season. The Big 12 looks like the 7th or 8th best conference and there are no more OOC games to raise your standing. Then a healthy Oklahoma, coming off a bye week, loses to a Kansas State that got beat by Arkansas State and was missing most of their first string because of COVID protocols. This is going to really hurt Oklahoma's shot at the playoffs.

This is exactly why there should never be expansion or automatic bids for conference champs in the CFP.

OU should be fine.
IF they run the table, they are likely getting in. That is their entire legacy. It is like death/taxes.

They have had one horrible loss seemingly every freaking season and still make the playoffs.
Heck, the 2003 team lost by 28 points and still made the title game one week later going a bit further back.

Nobody has been more lucky at overcoming regular season losses.
Name Recognition matters, and early season losses are generally forgotten.
