Obviously these speculations are assuming general good health, you can't puss out by saying 'well so-and-so might get hurt'.

I think probably Denver. But OKC has a shot too, and dare I say it....maybe the Lakers?

Nuggets. OKC finishes 3rd, Clips finish 4th.

I say Denver. The trio of Murray, Harris, and Jokic are awesome.

OKC or Denver. Some folks on sportstalk radio out here are starting to say the Lakers will finish 2nd. But, unless they make a big trade (which could happen as early as Dec. 15), I think the #4 seed is their ceiling.

The Lakers may be flawed, but the thing that's occurred to me about the west is that outside of GS, and probably Denver(which is a very young team), everybody else is flawed too. OKC, I would guess is number 3, but for whatever reason, I don't trust a Russ/PG pairing in the playoffs. I think that's a situation where Russ reverts at some point in the playoffs, and tries to do too much. That 2nd spot in the conference finals is totally up for grabs

Any team that doesn't let Harden drop 50 on them.

I'm starting settle on OKC grabbing the 2 spot. The Westbrook/PG pairing is looking real good and other guys are stepping up and playing well around them.

But, to a certain extent, we've seen this movie before with Westbrook and KD.

If Westbrook has learned his lesson and can resist his urge to play hero ball in the playoffs, they are a real threat to the Warriors, imo.

The problem is, he was never able to do it with KD who is a better player than PG.

Not saying he can't/won't. But I won't believe it until I see it.

Denver or OKC.

honestly, i think Utah and Houston are going to come around as well. --- maybe not contend for 2 seed but get up there.

Tehre shooting has been horrific......that should average out, and Korver should also help in that regard.

Rubio was at about 42% shooting last year- this year he is down to just under 40%....

Ingles' shooting is down.

Mitchell's shooting is down---significantly from 3...

Crowder is shooting like shit from 3....though he was bad last year too from 3....

I just think there offense will come around....especially during the dog days of the NBA season. Its a team that is deep, that is well coached and plays good defense. that shit plays well in the months of Jan/Feb/March were some teams dont show up on certain nights.

Exum, rubio, Crowder are all shotting TERRIBLY- and none of them are even average shooters- but they should all get some kind of up tick.

Korver is shooting 44% from 3 since getting there- thats gonna help them.

Its basically the same team from last year that was 11th in the league in 3 pt shooting - except now they oadded Korver...they are 25th right now.

They're likely a 5 seed at best....Most likely a 6 or 7 IMO
