I'll wait to see what the final roster is like first. If the Lakers by some miracle can get some good role players for Westbrook, I might up them from 8/9 to 6/7

I think the Nets can totally be better than their seed.

But, like the Lakers, Clippers......I don't think they will go all out when it won't really affect their outcome.

Clippers and Nets will avoid the play in, maybe get home court 1st round.

But, likely not after that no matter how hard they grind.

Lakers are in the play in.

Doesn't really matter if it's 7 or 8.

But, I'm sure they'd prefer to only play 1 game to get in.

But, if Zion and Dame are healthy?

Lakers have some issues because of the shooting.

They could fall to 9-10 as easily as they could land 6-8 if everything goes right.

That's one reason, yes. They just don't have top 10 talent type players, maybe not even top 15 talent.

You can make a case for any of these teams to do better or worse than picked...maybe the Wizards make the playoffs, or maybe the Kings do. Maybe Zion is awesome and healthy and the Pelicans do better, it's all unknown.

I called it pretty damn close last season. Also, the picks and what we gave up will hurt us for years to come and I am not a huge fan, but they do make us better this season. Why go all in when you aren't close to competing? Not sure, but that is what we did. We will win 50some games and make it to the second round. Hurray us throwing away our future for that.

Honestly, I can't say I blame them for the trade, I certainly didn't like it but it's been 20 years since the Wolves were any good at all and there are new owners who might want a team that doesn't suck always. I actually think they can finish as high as 4th in the West.
