I think we snag Corey Graham fairly quickly to play nickel. I think our major signing will be somebody on the DL.

I say Mike Mitchell is the only one we sign to open FA and it shocks the hell out of us.

I think we sign Mitchell, and I would be good with that. Half the price of Byrd, and a versatile safety who is hitting his prime and reportedly could play either SS or FS.

I also hope we get a good name DL, a 2nd tier CB, resign Riley, and get another ILB. Pass on Byrd, Talib, and really any WR, especially Nicks.

My only concern with Mitchell is he has really only had one good year. So was last year a fluke or was it the start of consistent pattern? Remember, he has his good year on a team with a very good defensive supporting cast around him.....he won't have that here for the next year or two. So there is some risk to signing him.

Why would I go nuts dude?? I realize we need players. And i know we are likely going to grab at least one headline before the day is out. NOw if we went on a rampage and signed Byrd, Talib, and J.H. Christ all to high dollar deals, yea i would be a tad bit perplexed. But remember i want us to build a team that wins in real life, not just on the XBox.

I'm not sure I want a "good name" DL unless you are talking about somebody who underperformed their draft position such as Tyson Jackson or Ziggy Hood.
