Ohio State trademarking word "THE" and will be selling apparel branded "THE"

The problem is — you have an Ohio University. So basically, you sound like you are doing a cheer for them.

To me, that is right up there with using ‘THE’ in front of the school name, like there is more than one Ohio State.
