I do not see a vet like McCabe coming to Philly unless Kimmo, Mesz & Pronger are all out at the same time. I feel the rookies are holding their own just fine and will as long as they aren't asked to do too much for too long.

We drafted him mid 1st. Don't see them taking anything less than a 1st round. I'd give a 1st and a mid-level prospect for him.

i would not. he's good and i liked him when he was here.. but i dont think he's panned out to be deserving a first, let alone a first and a prospect

Problem is that there is a need now. I am not so sure it would take a 1st to get him right now. The Ducks apparently want to shake things up. Theyn are not happys Ducks at the moment!

Key phrase there. He's out. Other guys are banged up and missing time here and there. We still have guys named Walker and Lilja somehow playing in the NHL. That is why we need another dman, and preferable not an old one.

Yes, I would take McCabe if it was dirt cheap but that would be the only reason.
