Been drinking a bit
New mexico
Illinois
Nebraska
Is my priorities
Since it's getting late, I'll give you New Mexico.

I'll take the UCLA Bruins for my final pick of the 6th Round.

@Jennerpeach will auto select the Fighting Illini of Illinois

That leaves us with @GhostRiderRushville to cap off the 2026 Survivor Series Challenge Draft.

For the weekly picks does it make sense to combine week 0 and week 1 since non of the teams will be playing both weeks for the 4 weekly picks? If I had USC I would certainly want to be playing them.

Alright, that's a wrap on the Draft. I shared your matchups in a previous post, but I'll copy that to the official in-season thread, as well.

Now the next step for everyone is to post your 4 team lineups for your Week 1 matchup.

Again, you'll need to check your own teams' schedules to see if you wanna use one of your teams for these first Week Zero(1) games, or next week for the official full Week 1 start.

Again, post your lineup in the official thread. Here is an example of a submission:

EvilMonkeyInTheCloset Week 1 (set)
Dallas
Green Bay
Chicago
Carolina

****FOR THIS WEEK ONLY****

If one of your teams plays both this week AND next week, please put an asterisk (*) next to your team to let me know which week you want me to count their scores:

NO asterisk- use your team today

Asterisk (ex: USC*)- use them for NEXT week's game

I know that's a little confusing but I'm gonna do my best to help you guys (and gals) with any questions you may have as we get started. And I will provide a list in another post for those whose teams play today.

Remember, if you don't submit a lineup BEFORE THE START TIME OF WHICHEVER TEAM IN YOUR LINEUP PLAYS FIRST THAT WEEK......you won't miss out. I will just go in order of the teams you picked in the Draft, and display those teams in the official matchup post.

And I guess it's only fitting that I get to lead by example to start things off because I'm gonna use USC for their first game this afternoon at 2 pm.

So I have until 2 pm to submit my 4 teams for my Week 1 matchup.

I think we get to pick 4 games from week 0 and week 1 combined.
Here are my picks
the Ohio State University
Penn St
Utah
NDSU vs Fordham Week 1

Let the games begin.

If you guys wanna differentiate between which week you wanna submit your team for by saying "Week 0" or "Week 1", instead of an asterisk (*), that's fine too.

I just need to know for the official matchup post.

Also, as a reminder, the in-season thread is up now so you guys can submit your lineups there.

I see a lot of 4 - 0's this week. Is the tie breaker total margin of victory
Yes. That's the difference between the War Games part and the Survivor Cup challenge, which keeps track of wins and losses over the course of the entire season.

I wanted to add to the weekly experience, and bring more of a Fantasy Football element, so it wasn't just pick your teams and forget about them for the rest of the year.

Just to clarify though, the way winners are determined each week is the combined total of the points scored by your 4 teams vs your opponent's total score. Not by who won or lost. So that's a key distinction to keep in mind when picking your 4 teams each week.

Example:

Team 1- (84 points)
Northwestern 34
Purdue 26
Ball State 14
Ohio 10

Team 2- (107 points)
California 27
Nevada 20
Kansas 52
Tulsa 8

Team 2 wins the matchup that week
