Read an interesting article this morning.

Don't sleep on De'Anthony Melton out of USC. He lost his sophomore year because of the FBI investigation into college basketball.

USC ended up not playing him at all because of it. So he left school to prepare for the NBA.

Apparently, he has impressed enough in workouts for NBA execs that he looks like he may be a late first round pick and may well have been a lottery pick if he had played last year.

I don’t think Melton gets past Boston now.

Jerome Robinson looks like he's been given a green room invitation. I'm starting to think he might be a guy who ends up going in the late teens. Heard he could be a high riser because he'd show well in work outs.

Hopefully someone of quality slips to the Warriors. If not, I'm going back to my original guy, Shake Milton.

Chandler Hutchinson also invited to green room. Curious where they think he’s going if he’s been invited.

I don’t think Melton gets past Boston now.

He would fit well in their system, especially if they trade Smart. I'd like to see the Lakers get him, but I doubt he'll be available.

The only reason for the Kings to trade back is if a team a few spots behind them wants to move up and they can add a good young player/future 1st round pick by trading down(like Boston last year). Trading out of the top 10 let alone top 5 is so stupid. Just. Pick. Luka.

He should want to win a title more than getting the max, he's made plenty of money in his career and will still make a lot on a non max deal.

Nah, he still wants the max. They have to be considering trying to force a trade; it's the only thing that works under the cap.

I never really spent any time thinking about it because well, its the Grizzlies, but seeing this really makes you say "Wow". It's just a graveyard of broken dreams and infinite sadness.

For me the poster child was Joe Smith, I thought he'd be terrific. Oops.

But what the hell do I know, I thought Jaylen Brown was very overrated and overhyped, after seeing his one year at Cal up close. Just didn't do it for me. Oops again.
