Good job by the offense in the 2nd half. The Raiders had been blitzing straight up the middle. In the 2nd half the Skins ran more zone stretch plays, slants and plays to the TE in voids left open by the Raiders blitzing. Credit to the OL for holding up better and in the 2nd half. The Skins had a lot of max pro calls but there were too many free runners at Griffin, much better job in the 2nd half.

They did do a better job in the 2nd half. Griffin has to learn to recognize those blitzes and call for hot reads before the snap. The Safety blitzes were telegraphed well before the snap and was leaving the middle of the field open for big gains on slants. Our running backs played great today. Morris ran his ass off before he left with the injury. He was picking up yards when there was nothing there. He would carry 2 or 3 of them for 5 yards on his back. Helu started slow, but found his groove the more he ran. This could have been a game where a Jordan Reed for Fred Davis could have had a field day. Was Davis even activated? I don't remember seeing him play at all if he was.

I saw Fred on the field one play but didn't notice him much at all. I agree that they missed Reed.

I know he dropped a TD pass but Robinson is the only guy who can constantly get deep for this team. Maybe Moss, but he also had a drop early in the game. Morgan offers nothing to this team. Biggest waste of money. Someone has to step up besides Garcon. Reed might make a big impact when he comes back.

As a Hokie fan, it pains me to say it..but Morgan has been a big disappointment. I have felt all along that this WR corps was not up to snuff outside of Garcon. They have all had their moments but are wildly inconsistent. I think it needs to be addressed in the offseason. The TE position is solid IMO...keep Garcon and maybe another WR (Hank?), outside of that start all over......again

its more the money with Morgan. 12 million for 2 years. We just outbid ourselves. He is just a possession WR but so is Hankerson.
