I think what's listed there is inhumane regardless of whether humans somewhere in the world live in worse conditions. If you wanna defend him go for it but I think it's pretty clear he did what he could to make a specific group of peoples lives hell. And for that Trump pardoned him.
Really? You believe it is cruel (the definition of inhumane) to live in conditions that much of the world lives in and almost all of history?
I am not defending him. I am defending all of those you believe are beneath you because they live in squalor. You believe what Americans are blessed with is humane. Do some traveling and see the happiness of people with far less than you have. I am currently in Guyana, a country with mostly darker skinned people, and I love these people far more than almost every American I meet on the street. I love these people because they are appreciative, greatful, and genuine. They have less than me, but they bless me, and I am greatful for them.
It isn’t inhumane to live in a tent and wear a pink shirt. It isn’t inhumane to work hard in the heat. It is humbling and honorable. Do I agree with Arpaio for targeting illegals, if that is in fact what he did? Yes and no. They have no right to be in this country and they committed offenses that put them in jail beyond that. I don’t have a lot of sympathy for them.
