I was Born in Maine and playing in subfreezing weather was normal.

The greatest fear that the NFL has would be having Miami and LA in a Super Bowl being played in Buffalo during a Lake Erie Effect blizzard.
Or any team playing in a dome.

I feel the NFL should ban domes.

Speaking of Maine, I'm in a place now yds from the beach about a mile from Huots. I'll be feasting this week.

Note to @Yankee Traveler : don't need to water your lawn today.
Whelp....Hasn't rained yet.

Rain was predicted yesterday. No rain.
Rain was predicted Sunday.
No rain.
Rain was predicted Saturday....You get the point.

BTW, I only water my lawn after it turns brown.

They said it would be cloudy and rain all day today. Sun came out about 8:00 and it's a gorgeous warm, breezy day about 80.

Looks like you are going to miss Fred. It is in eastern TN right now.

Nice.
A quick look at Google Earth show that it does not appear to be heavily developed with some decent property around it.
Most of the lakes in TN are pretty well developed.
How deep is it?
"West Point Lake is a fairly deep (mean depth of 23 feet), rocky reservoir with little submerged structure other than rocky points and humps"

Deepest area are 70 feet while the shallow flooded creeks are as little as 3-4 ffeet

Clean? As in clear usually clear water?

Most of the lakes here are seriously murky from silt.
