Lot's of off season chatter going on in Jets / Pats thread perhaps it's time to start a thread.

So question one, sitting at 18 do the Pats

1. Trade down for more mid round picks?

2. Snatch a QB?

3. Snatch a WR?

4. Snatch D line?

1b) SIGN JC Jackson!!!! (this might be 1a)

2) Bring in a top FA QB, but none excite me.

3) Trade for one of those rumored tradeable QB's that are supposedly looking for a last hurrah. Stafford, Rogers, Watson or even Jimmy G I've read "rumors" on.

4) Bring in a top FA WR.

5) Draft defense, Big, fast...or big and fast..and mean.

5b) Draft OL

This is why I would rather BB take a QB and go after two FA Vets. Let him target guys that are proven not guys that are projects. Who the heck is out WR coach anyway, can't we fire him?

1=yes its worked for 20 years
2=yes several good ones available-lawrence/fields/wilson/lance/jones
3=yes several good ones also-chase/waddell/smith/marshall/toney/olave
4-yes always need d linemen-payne/rousseau/ossai

a linebacker would help also since they were down to practice squad guys playing yesterday

I was thinking Rogers would end up in NE in 2021 after GB traded up for a QB last draft but after this season I think GB would be wise to ride it out with him for at least another year. Stafford is likely too expensive for Bill's taste. Houston will need Watson for their "rebuild". Jimmy G is a possibility but I sure as hell hope not and the 49ers are saying he's their QB next year.

Where he played scares me a bit level of competition and all that. But to me big guy, very mobile strong arm, might like to run first versus step up into pocket but that is coachable. Check out some highlights on the cat.

Yeah...I was just spittballin. I read a clickbait article on each one at some point this year. Not sayin any of it would or even should happen, but I wouldn't be disappointed with any of them.

In looking at a few mock drafts they indicate other than a potential comp pick the Pats have no round 3 pick. Seems there are a lot of needs some which may be addressed in the off season via the FA period. But there also needs to be younger players coming in. Seems trading that #15 may make the most sense.

What is reasonable trade for #15?
