Take it for what its worth, but my Wife is predicting the Sharks to WIN IT ALL. She has been telling me this for the last 2 weeks after a dream she had. She has made 2 predictions before on our Favorite Teams and now she has made a 3rd prediction.

1st prediction was about the SF Giants winning the World Series. She kept telling me don't worry the Giants were going to sneak in the playoffs and then win it all. Plus the Giants won the Series on her Birthday 11-1-10 "awh good times"

2nd Prediction was about the 49ers making it to the Super Bowl last year. She kept telling me before the season started that the 9ers were going to the Super Bowl and win it. Well most of us know we were a Kyle Williams Bone Head play away from the Super Bowl. "Ugh still feel bad for the kid" I know it didn't happen but it was very close to happening.

3rd Prediction started 2 weeks when my Wife kept telling me not to worry and that the Sharks were going to make it into the playoffs by the skin of their teeth. And then the Sharks would win the Cup.

I too would take the sharks at 18/1. Pitt sure looks like a powerhouse now though, they may be one big hit from falling out of it. I know new orleans got tagged by the bounty scandal, but if I wee philly, thee would sure be an unspoken bounty, I would figure. If they dont take runs at sid in games 1 and 2, they are idiots. It's really their main chance of winning, because a fully healthy Pitt is head and shoulders above the rest of the east.

i would say these odds are generous based on the season and what we have seen so far...laughing at the Pittsburgh odds though...who could have known?!?!

They came from Vegas bookmakers and yes, they were accurate as of the day before the first playoff game took place.

The Sharks had decent odds before the season started because they finished last year's playoffs as one of the final four teams.

They always do it that way.

Obviously, them finishing as a #7 seed and how they did it definitely justified the lower odds entering the playoffs.
