I dont believe it but sometimes news poppers like this turn into big things. Unless the Aquilinis are losing money bad from other businesses or Basillie came with a $500M offer I dont see them selling

i saw a blurb in the paper that they are going full speed ahead in bidding on building/operating the new regional district garbage incinerator (pc term: waste to energy plant) on tsawwassen first nations land

Ah, the Basillie Factor. Considering the team will be selling out for a long time based on their recent success, I wouldn't consider this to be anything but a stunt to sell more subscriptions.

love him or hate him, Aquilini has spent oodles of money on this team that he didn't have to (sleep doctors, revamped building, expanding scouting staff, etc).
nothing about the way he's been dealing with the team has indicated he's flipping the team.


maybe the guy at the sportsdesk at 1130 left his twitter logged in on his computer when he left for lunch.
